January 21, 1999: Here I am, back again, and I have learned a LOT more. Have been learning "methods" in this part of the course. A document is an object, the same as a button, box or window. A method "is a special sort of function that applies only to an object." The name of a method is usually a verb. It describes something it's object can do. In this document I have used the write( ) method, which lets you display text anywhere in a document, or even "create an HTML document 'on the fly' ", as the lesson page puts it.


That was fun wasn't it? I think I better check the time. It may be past my bedtime.
